The Universe International® Legacy
It started in March 2028 when Bill Hall decided there should be a Mrs. Universe and Ms. Universe pageant. He applied for the
United States trademarks which were immediatelt contested by the Miss Universe organization. They dragged on forever. To cover himself he
obtained state of Nevada trademarks for the titles and also secured the newer NFT Trademarks for both of them.
Then came covid 19 and pageants were not happening. In 2020 Bill launched the Mrs. Universe and Ms. Universe pageant systems
with the NFT and State trademarks. He arranged with Lynda Samuals who had the Classic Universe trademarks to have her direct the pageant in
Las Vegas and show him the ropes. Shanon Ford Mrs. Uiverse and Hajera Naeem Ms. Universe set the stage for the future
The July 2021 pageant was held in the Orleans Theater in Las Vages, Nevada. The Ms and Mrs Classic divisions had 13 Ambassadors
and the Mrs. and Ms. Universe divisions had 13 Ambassadors for a total of 26 Ambassadors on stage - the theater was paid for and the videos of
the pageants, fashion show, and bowling in ball gowns show it was well planned and executed. Mrs. Universe Lynelle Deroo Marcos wend on
three missions sto Africa and one to Mexico and has founded a non for profit that is benefitting many there who are being served through her
efforts. Melisa Behnke Mrs. Universe International cold not make it as she could not leave Europe due to travel restrictions (Covid).
In 2022 the was no pageant held as there were only delegates for the classic divisions. At this point the United States Patent and
Trademark Office declined to grant their approval of a trademark. At this point Bill was the only individual with any type of trademarks for Ms.
and Mrs. Universe (Nevada and NFT). Although He did not get the other trademarks he wanted, no one could shut him down as he was
grandfathered the the previous show and the other types of tradematks. He found out thowever that the Nevada trademark was only good in
Nevada and the NFT trademarks were great but unknown as to their legality with regard to protections against infringement as well as contract
protections which the United States trademarks were famous for. Bill did not want to keep people on for another year so he went back to the
2021 ambassadors who enter the pageant and selected 4 new international titleholders. Two were for the Mrs. and Mrs. Universe titles and two
were for the Ms. and Mrs. Universe International titles he was awardeing as part of the new Universe International® trademark he received from
Melissa Martel ( He named the Civil Service Award after her). He was now ready for 2023. In 2023 Bill received his own US TRademark for Universe
International® and returned the other one to Melisa. Ms. Universe Cristianne Beckstead was the cornerstone of the operation and through her
recruiting efforts the 2023 pageant was made possible.
In 2023 the pageant was held at the famous Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas. Out of 20 applicants 2 dropped out with full refund, 2 were not paid in
full and one just didn’t show up. With 13 on stage there was not enough to pay for the theatre however the Westgate did provide 3 ballrooms
(one for a dressing room with a panel revved for entry behind the 40x30 stage with full sound system. Instaed of theater seating Bill opted for a
dinner party atmosphere witdressed tables and chairs set up for the few hundred well wishers that came to cheer of their favorite delegates.
From the videos and photos posted you can see that everyone had a good time. In addition Bill had additional trademakes made available to
him so that each individual on stage was able to compete for and win either an international or national title if they did not get the Universe or
Universe international titles they competed for. Ashley (Mrs. Universe 2023-2024) walked in NY and London Fashion Weeks). She also owned
Nevada and Las Vegas with her time and efforts.
2024 - no pageant. Bill selected some ladies to keep the pageant name out there. His medical problems we many. The ladies were wonderful.
2025 - Bill was again beset with medical problems. Two wonderful ladies were paid in and one partial. April was crowned Mrs. Universe
International in Paris during Paris Fashion Week by former Ms. Universe Hajera Naeem. Simone was crowned at a large function hosted by
family and friends. The partial was returned in full along with the state sash and crown for use through 2025 as a thank you.
2025 Bill needed a change he decided to turn over the pageant systems to Anastasia Mason with the trademarks (NFT and US). He stayed on
board as a volunteed webmaster till Novermber 31st, 2025 as the new official website would be unveiled.
I 2026 many delegates and titleholders complained to Bill that they were left out of the history and legacy the system displayed in the new
webste. The new website is continually evolving and more content is being added by their webmaster and director. Bill dusted off the old
website as a legacy and historical venue for those whoe were a part of the system and those interested in its rich and wonderfull history.
